When to Call

Call our crisis line if you or someone else is:

  • Experiencing suicidal thoughts
    Feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or
    unable to cope
  • Struggling with severe anxiety,
    depression, or emotional distress
    Experiencing psychosis, hallucinations,
    or paranoia
  • In emotional crisis or unable to stay safe
    Experiencing a substance use-related
    crisis
  • Concerned about someone’s mental
    health or safety
  • Unsure what kind of help is needed
    Support is available 24 hours a day, 7
    days a week.

What Happens When You Call

A trained crisis worker will:

  • Listen without judgment
  • Assess immediate safety concerns
  • Help determine the best next steps
  • Provide emotional support and crisis
    intervention
  • Connect individuals to additional services
    and resources when needed

Depending on the situation, services may
include:

  • Telephone support
  • Community-based or mobile crisis response
  • Coordination with hospitals, law
    enforcement, or medical providers when
    necessary
  • Referral to ongoing mental health or
    substance use services

In An Emergency

CALL 911 or Go To The Emergency Room If:

  • There is an immediate medical
    emergency
  • Someone has seriously harmed
    themselves
  • There is immediate danger of violence or
    serious injury
  • A weapon is involved
  • Someone is unconscious, unresponsive,
    or in need of urgent medical care
