The Farmland Preservation Program (FPP) is designed to help preserve farmland through local planning and zoning, promote soil and water conservation and provide tax relief to participating landowners.
Landowners qualify if their land is in an exclusively agriculture zoning district or if they sign an agreement to user their land exclusively for agricultural purposes.
