Services:
Financial information, including county budgets, and audit reports
Duties:
Direct, develop, and coordinate the County’s overall financial management program including financial procedures, fiscal reporting and accounting methods, reconciliation of accounts, and budget preparation and management. Provide advice, counsel, and direction to all department heads to the extent necessary to ensure effective administration and implementation of approved fiscal policies, plans, and programs. Assist Finance Committee and County Board in preparing statistical data in support of financial goals. Maintain the County’s general ledger. Coordinate the annual independent audit, prepare supporting schedules for review by auditor, and serve as liaison between the departments and auditor. Conduct internal audits as requested.
